Spring Recreational Season Update
To all Easton Girls Softball and EGSL Summer Travel players, families and supporters,
We want to give you all an update given the COVID-19 situation. We hope you and your families are healthy during this trying time and thank all the Essential Workers within our EGSL family. We truly appreciate all your efforts!
Board members are working behind the scenes to maintain a state of readiness and flexibility so that we are prepared to work within whatever guidelines are given as soon as those guidelines become available. It’s our goal to be ready to play softball as soon as it is safe to proceed.
Once we have direction from the Town, State and USA Softball we can determine the best course of action and communicate the options.
We ask for your continued patience and understanding during this unprecedented time as there are many moving parts and even more unknowns. Our priority continues to be the safety and well-being of our players, coaches, umpires and families. We look forward to getting back on the softball field and seeing everyone soon!

EGSL softball family,
We want to provide an update regarding the current situation with COVID-19 as it relates to softball. We have been in constant communications with the town of Easton, the MIAA, USA Softball and we continue to stay in touch with the DPH and CDC protocols.
Our first priority is the safety of our softball community. While we understand the risk for infection remains low we feel it is prudent to suspend all softball related activities until further notice. This includes but not limited to:

Saturday evaluation day

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates related to EGSL activities. Please continue to check in with our website updates and Facebook page.

We look forward to being back on the fields and getting the girls together as soon as it’s deemed safe.
